Announcing the Zenoh User Meeting 2023

Our team is happy to announce the second Zenoh User Meeting and host it on the 12th of December at 3 pm Central European time.

This event is sponsored by the Eclipse Foundation and will bring together Zenoh enthusiasts and experts who will share insights and explore the future of our pub/sub/query protocol. Specifically, this meeting is particularly relevant for the robotics, Edge/IoT, and automotive industries.

3:00 pm – 3:15 pm: Welcome and Opening Remarks

Firsty, our event kicks off with a thank you for being part of our Zenoh community and opening remarks from our CEO and CTO, Angelo Corsaro. Join us as we set the stage for a day of demos, use cases, engaging discussions and insights.

3:15 pm – 3:45 pm: One Year of Zenoh: Reviewing the Progress and the Roadmap Ahead

Discover the journey of Zenoh over the past year, the progress achieved with hard work from our team, its achievements and what we’re looking forward to in the near future. Consequently, Angelo Corsaro, who’s also the Project Lead for Zenoh, will host this session and will explain Zenoh’s trajectory and what lies ahead.

3:45 pm – 6:00 pm: Zenoh User Reports

Learn from fellow Zenoh users as they share their experiences, insights, and stories. This segment offers a unique opportunity to see Zenoh in action and hear from real-world use cases.

Among the confirmed speakers, we have Samuel Greising (FLECS), Rodrigo Gonzalez (The Construct), Peter van der Perk (NXP), Sara Gallian (Eclipse SDV), Franco Cipollone and Yadunund Vijay (Intrinsic), Steven Hartley (General Motors), Christopher Helpa (TTTech Auto), Elias De Coninck (Tractonomy Robotics) and Hideki Takase (University of Tokyo).

6:00 pm – 7:30 pm: Zenoh Feature Updates

Stay ahead of the curve with the latest Zenoh feature updates. The Zenoh team will delve into the advancements, plugins and bridges that make Zenoh an indispensable communication protocol to install in your application, which is especially beneficial for those working in the robotics, IoT, or automotive industry.

7:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Q&A

Do you have questions for our team, guests or need clarifications? To sum up, our Q&A session is the perfect platform to interact directly with our Zettlers and fellow attendees.

8:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Refreshments, Meet and Greet

Take the chance to connect with fellow Zenoh users and adopters. We encourage you to share your user experiences or ideas with the community. We want to hear your thoughts and feedback online and in person, in our office in Paris.
